X2 provides API-based technical access for supported platform services and integrations.

X2 services communicate through defined APIs and adapters. Direct access to internal core systems is not provided.

API access is granted by service and scope. Access to one X2 service does not automatically provide access to another.

X2 uses structured music and rights data standards, including DDEX as a primary standard and CWR where applicable to publishing workflows.

External providers and platforms connect to X2 through dedicated adapters and interfaces. X2 canonical data remains independent of any single external provider.

API access is subject to authentication, credentials, permissions, rate limits and applicable security requirements.

Technical documentation, supported endpoints and integration requirements are provided for the relevant X2 services as they become available.
