AI & Synthetic Content Policy
Rules for AI-generated, AI-assisted, synthetic-voice and related content across X2 Services.
1. General Position
X2 does not automatically reject music or artwork merely because AI was used. AI-generated and AI-assisted content may be eligible where sufficient commercial rights, licences, permissions and required disclosures are established for the intended service.
2. Component-Level Disclosure
Users may be required to disclose AI involvement separately for audio, vocals or synthetic voice, composition, lyrics, instrumentation, artwork, video and other relevant components.
3. Evidence
X2 may request provider terms applicable at creation, paid-plan records, invoices, licences, certificates, project files, stems, provenance information, written permissions or other evidence supporting commercial use.
4. Verification Statuses
X2 may use statuses such as HUMAN, AI_ASSISTED, AI_GENERATED, SYNTHETIC_VOICE, AI_REVIEW_REQUIRED, AI_RIGHTS_VERIFIED, AI_RIGHTS_UNVERIFIED and AI_REJECTED. Audio, artwork, voice, composition and lyrics may have separate statuses.
5. X2 AI Verification
X2 may use automated systems and APIs to review declarations, licence evidence, provenance, technical signals and provider eligibility, with manual review where needed.
6. Detector Limitations
No single AI detector is treated as conclusive proof of origin or infringement. Detector output may trigger internal review but is not by itself a definitive public accusation.
7. Synthetic Voices and Identity
Unauthorized cloning or impersonation of a real person's voice or identity is not eligible. Authorized synthetic voice may require documented consent, licence or other rights where applicable. A synthetic persona must not falsely impersonate a real person.
8. Commercial Licence Is Not Ownership
Permission to commercially use an AI tool or output does not by itself establish copyright ownership, human authorship or exclusive rights.
9. Separate Eligibility Decisions
Distribution, monetization, master claiming, composition claiming, exclusive fingerprinting and publishing eligibility are assessed separately. Approval for one function does not guarantee another.
10. Publishing and Authorship
Fully AI-generated composition material is not automatically eligible for publishing registration or composition claiming. Human authorship, applicable law and society rules may affect eligibility.
11. AI Artwork
Artwork generated or assisted by AI must have sufficient commercial rights and must not unlawfully reproduce protected works, trademarks, likenesses or other restricted material.
12. Provenance
X2 may preserve provenance records, verification identifiers, tool information, licence dates, evidence, technical methods, review history and supported content-credential information such as C2PA where available.
13. Fees
AI Verification or AI Release Processing may carry a disclosed Service Fee based on analysis, compute, provenance review, licence review, quality control or manual review. The fee is not a punishment for AI usage.
14. Fraudulent Concealment
Knowingly hiding material AI origin where disclosure is required, submitting forged AI licences or falsifying provenance may be treated as fraud.
15. No Automatic Training Use
X2 does not automatically use customer catalogs to train AI models. Any future training-licensing program would require explicit opt-in, separate terms, rights verification and separate revenue accounting.
