Regional Availability & Restricted Services Policy
How geographic, legal, sanctions, provider and operational restrictions may affect individual X2 Services.
1. International Platform
X2 is an international technology and digital services platform, but not every service, provider, payout method, rights workflow or integration is available in every jurisdiction.
2. Service-Specific Availability
Distribution, Publishing & Rights, Social and UGC Monetization, Analytics, APIs, AI Verification, payouts, professional registrations, Label services and other functions may have different geographic availability.
3. Reasons for Restriction
Availability may depend on law, sanctions, financial regulation, provider policy, DSP availability, rights-society coverage, licensing limits, payment infrastructure, tax requirements, technical constraints, contracts and compliance risk.
4. Dynamic Operational Directories
X2 may maintain current operational directories for supported countries, currencies, payout methods, DSPs, rights organizations or API regions rather than embedding a permanent country list in legal terms.
5. Separate Location Facts
Citizenship, legal residence, business establishment, beneficiary location, bank country, company ownership and technical location may be separate facts and may be assessed independently where relevant.
6. Targeted Restrictions
Where reasonably possible, X2 may restrict only the affected service instead of disabling an entire account. For example, a payout method may be unavailable while catalog or rights functionality remains accessible.
7. Distribution and Rights Territories
Content or rights services may be available in some territories and unavailable in others based on user rights, provider rules, law or licensing limits.
8. No Circumvention
Users must not misrepresent residence, nationality, company location, beneficiary, bank country, identity or technical location to evade applicable restrictions. Use of a VPN does not change legal residence, citizenship or sanctions status.
9. Alternative Lawful Methods
Where one route is unavailable, X2 may offer another lawful supported method if available. X2 is not required to provide an alternative that would violate law or provider requirements.
10. Temporary Suspension and Notice
X2 may temporarily suspend a service in a region after legal, sanctions, provider, technical or security changes. Where reasonably practicable, affected users may be notified of material changes.
11. Accrued Royalties
Accrued eligible royalties do not automatically disappear because a payout corridor becomes unavailable. Payment may remain pending until a lawful supported method is available, subject to applicable law and contractual limits.
